CEP up ~25% in the last 2 sessions, PSTR down.
CEP up 80% in the last year, PSTR down.
I'm not pumping CEP here - it's long term performance has been awful but the two companies were pretty comparable before.
Liza, the debt situation was different between the two companies. dilution is the killer at postrock and lack
of that until now was one of the things I like at cep. I do not know why cep is up so sharply all of a sudden,
but its fundamentals are worthy of higher valuation in the long run.
No animosity - I just recognize a basket case when I see it.
P.S. No unrealizes losses in CEP. Earlier this year I did tax loss harvesting - doubled my position then sold the original stake 31 days later. I got a tax loss to offset against options premiums and reset my CEP cost basis to the $1.60 vicinity.
