I expect the market will start to look at Icahn's intentions as we get closer to earnings. If earnings are weak, I expect Ichan will roll out his vision for the company. That is when longs will probably catch a bounce. If earnings beat expectations, which could happen because of a possible aggressibe stock buyback program, the stock will also bounce. I may be wrong, but I am betting nuan will make a decent move upward whether the earnings are good or bad. But then, what do I know!
I guess I am not the only one who is wondering how this will play out. However, if Icahn has been accumulating large numbers of shares, he has to have a motive which he believes will make him money. Since he can draw interest to the stock by just a simple press release, he certainly holds the key to his and our (longs) fate. I personally am not a fan of Ichan, but he usually figures out how to make money one way or the other.
