I have tried a number of times to vote over the internet on the proxy vote site supplied by Scottrade without success. The site will not recognize the pin number which the site supplied. I have called Mr. Cotte at Taro to complain. Are any of the minority shareholders having this problem?
The problem is not with Taro.
If you had problems also in the first time- the problem may be in your browser- try a different browser.
Try this;I n your broker account there is a record of the status of your vote. If you already voted for the first proxy it would say 'voted' otherwise it would say 'vote' - both of them are links that will take you to proxy vote site.( I voted this way for the second proxy without any problem. I did not need to enter a control number or pin numbers.) If unsuccessful, I suggest you call Scottrade, they may give you a link o file a complaint.with the SEC. I think you can also ask them for a hardcopy proxy to be sent to you by mail.
I had no issue with Scott trade. I checked the link from last weeks email as well as today. Both contain the NEW external directors. Was super thrilled to see Bluemountain nominees who I am hoping and believe will push for important shareholder value maximizing proposals including 1) international sales 2) acquisition in specialty sector and use of cash 3) improving IR practices.
as well as all strategic options will truly be looked at from arms length...Hoping the board will objectively evaluate the merits of such a transaction in the context of all potential alternate transactions available in the market to maximize all shareholders value.
