I don't see the connection between business networking and vacation rental industries. BTW, you never want to disregard what the insiders are doing as often times they are the ones who are the most informed. They are blatantly selling the shares, so it does not look like they anticipate that the stock will triple, quadruple, etc. any time soon. As far as fundamentals are concerned, hope you remember what happened in the years 2000-2002 with technology shares. Hoping that any technology stock you buy wil turn into the next Amazon is a bit far-fetched, IMHO.
LNKD now has 21B market cap but makes very little $$$$.
then again look at amzn, fundamentals are not that important when it comes to buying internet stocks. They'll never make money but have a 140 billion market cap. They don't even have a P/E.
So what is the secret sauce? Methinks : in the internet world, users become enthralled investors. When they use the product they tend to buy the stock. So internet companies that have significant users have stocks value ratios that far exceed other companies. By this logic, with a modest forward P/E, and millions of users worldwide, away is massively undervalued.
