Nobody get too excited but I'm on board( I know, who the hell are you again). Was lookin around for something else to ride this fall. This stocks been on my watchlist for a while.
The next leg in silver should really take off as copper tops. This one has zinc, lead, and a little oil?
Looks like a retest of the breakout here.
I haven't been following that one like I should, suckin wind is about right...
you can save that link for an intraday chart and change the ticker symbol in the URL if you want to look at another stock.
If you click annotate, and draw a downtrend line from the high's on the 19th, you'll notice your right back where you were at the first of the month ( you already knew that). If it just chop's sideways it should break that downtrend. If it heads back above 9 and fails at those high's from the 19th, then cash it in.
As oversold as it is here I would just protect myself if it traded down below about 8, my gut tells me it fills that little old gap at 8 from sept 1st, then has plenty of room to run north.
I haven't checked the news on it but here is the daily, same as above:
Looks like it has to fill that gap at 8 before it does anything.
That thing looks more like a roller coaster from the may low's rather than a bull bottom.
If it traded below that 7.91 low, I'd call Uncle...
Welcome aboard. This stock is one of the stocks IMO that believers in the silver story should own. Why? because this stock represents silver in the vault (ground) and when we do get the higher prices of silver this stock will soar! This is in opposition to stocks such as HL, PAAS and CDE who are giving shareholders assests away at bargain basement prices. IMO dump these dogs and buy MGN,SSRI,WTZ to name a few. All believers in the silver story need to get rid of the price depressors and get with the silver in the vault stocks. JMHO, good luck Art!
Here is something most of you have probably seen, but if you haven't, you should. It is of course unabashed cheerleading for MGN, but still, it does tell the MGN story nicely, and it does give one a warm fuzzy feeling about holding the stock. MGN did do a nine-bagger starting about this time a couple of years ago, with a silver chart having much in common wih the current one, so maybe it's not all written in glitter glue.
One big advantage of MGN from my point of view is that the head office is in Spokane and the mine is in Montana. Hugo Chavez and his ilk are reported to have minimal influence in those areas.
Sorry to mangle the link, but the yahoo police would remove this message sooner or later if I didn't.

Yes, and it doesn't hurt that the Montana governor and legislature are more interested in the economic benefits of the mine than the economic complexities.
Did you see that today Bush said that he was suspending those silly EPA rules for the myriad special winter blends of gasoline? Could it be that some environmental common sense is coming to Washington DC as well as to Helena, and at just the right time?
