Insider trading is illegal.Overthinking his lightening round.
The hypothetical situation I described wouldn't technically be insider-trading.It's just his buddies asking him to put a sell out so that some pressure is relieved that they are feeling from being short the July calls. The public is long them. The marketmakers are short them.It just seemed a little contrived the way he extended the lightning round to take that call. A little bit too deliberate that's all.
All july calls are barely 1M shares. 20M shares have traded in the last 5 days.Cramer isn't one to buy on a rumor. For him sell is a logical choice. Nothing to do with outside influence. He has extended rounds many times. Maybe you are too close to the subject.Conspiracy theories seem a bit far fetched.-gee
