Although ARNA could always surprise with an unexpected news item, the next potential price mover is the final class designation for Belviq. That designation most likely will come after the February options expiration date. And when it does come, it will only be a temporary and probably not significant price mover since the event is expected.
I think the Feb OpEx is a bit too earlier for a substantial pre-launch rise to take place. I don't trade options myself, but if I did I would be hesitant about buying the $9 calls. The MMs have a nasty habit of making sure large Call options are not in the money.
I would look at the April 9's. By Mid April all questions regarding DEA and marketing date are resolved. This is what personally I've looked at and am evaluating. They are more pricey, but you have a lot of time to sit on the side. Break even is 9,9, but should the DEA announcement come soon, I "think" there is plenty of time premium that these could go up 50% to double in a very short time. GL.
