Yeah, the M series... Hard to beat. I'd take one over any current Porsche. Tesla has a few products I'm interested in, but I'll wait a few more years till the most recent advances in micro battery technology make it into the cars.
Why would you want to buy a car from an era thats not known for quality cars? 70's muscle good. 80's me too cars.. not good. 90's blah. Id buy a new Mustang, Camaro or Challenger before anything made after 73 to 2000. Unless you got something exceptional lined up
I'm with you, forcepatrol. Buy a mid 70's, or older muscle car, before all the pollution control #$%$ became regulated. A mid 50's corvette would be nice. Maybe a 68 Charger, or 69 Camaro. I like the new Camaro's. too.
I've done my research. I'd looooove a 68 Camaro, but I need a daily driver and I'm concerned about the weather. I want a 89 944 turbo, the accountants Porsche. I got to drive one when I was young, It'll work for me. I'd actually prefer a 968 coupe, the forgotten Porshe. I always thought the 928's looked cooler than the 944's and the 968 kinda harkens to it. It also has a six speed gear box, so mileage is reasonable.
Back in high school I had a 74 Pontiac LeMans. Build like a tank, had the power of tank, and got 12 to the gallon. Pistons sounded like artillery. My next car was a 76 Celica fast back, which was the import car of the year. Had an R22 engine, british racing green. Rebuilt the entire car... caught the wiring harness on fire welding the drivers floor board. Loved that car. Bought it for $400.00 because it looked kinda like a Porsche.
