I continue to write a about four new Belviq scripts daily. Mostly Type 2DM. I am worry it is too much. However, everyone is appropriate. They call me. Some just Obese. Against my advice some have mixed with SSRI. No problem. All the feedback is positive. Maybe real world response 50%. I don't know. Believe me are not, but I am sure script numbers will be very high. My eligible patients will soon saturate. However as each internist or FP learn the details of the drug, they will go through this same process. Imagine every primary care Physician in America with 300 patients on Belviq. The patients that don't respond will soon be offered Belphen. Blockbuster not in question. This is the birth of a major Pharmaceutical Company called ARENA.
Good for the patients. They are the real winners.
Friday June 28 will be a big signpost day for Arena Pharmaceuticals......The picture will clarify with script data.... this is the real situation near term...Since I do not doubt the chemistry of Belviq my expectation is for consistent week to week increases in scripts... based on anecdotal success stories alone...... there is no other way to say it.....networking advertisement... powerful I think...
Sentiment: Strong Buy
thanks for the update, did you see my comparative post to AEGR and where this company could be in 6 months compared to what AEGR has done. It is really amazing and exciting right now. Very similar to what they saw until earnings and numbers started coming out.
Who cares about the grammar. I had same comment yesterday. Drs are busy and that we take a few minutes to help add information , that should be appreciated. Its the information not the structure. Of course if ithe grammar and spelling are terrible, the message loses validity.
I'm having a tough time convincing my doctor to write a Belviq prescription for me because my weight isn't the problem, but my LDL is off the charts, my total cholesterol is over 348 last count 6 months ago, and I can't tolerate any statin drugs because of muscle pain. I will continue to beg for a prescription.
If you need to lose any weight , look for another Dr.
Is your blood pressure over 130/80 . What is your fasting blood sugar and Hb A1c levels. If these are issues you would qualify in my opinion.
To Rewind: I am sorry, but Belviq not likely to change your numbers enough to matter unless obese and loose a lot of wt. Did you know if you take a Statin just once a week it will likely improve your survival. Most of my patients who don't tolerate qday statin can usually take it 1 to 3 days a week.
As I said above, I don't care if you believe me or not. I hope you enjoy your job at the discount tire
store. I hope you are not short. If you are please cover. They likely don't pay you much even if you are a Nuclear Physicist.
Please bash away. Back to work for me. When you see the numbers it might be "Gosh I wonder if that guy really is a Doctor"
