If it's true, this is truely a brilliant move by management to chose "Oprah" as the first magazine to appear in...as everyone knows, Oprah is known as a "king maker" with any products/people she features, and even though she personally probably doesn't approve all adds featured, there is that perception that goes with her. Imagine what will happen when the devout Oprah fan-base gets a taste of the areniac fever... who knows maybe Oprah will be a spokeswoman for Belviqe...that would be game over for shorts!
Has anyone seen a magazine ad for Qysmia? I wonder if Vivus can even afford one.
Magazines are valuable in providing background information in doctor's waiting rooms. An ad in WebMD for Belviq would also be useful since it is both internet and printing media. The legalities of disclosures makes this ads somewhat unwieldy, but a description of how it works to repair the natural feedback system for appetite contol would be helpful and more effective than painting a picture of a weight free future. People who are obese know they are, know their risks, know what they want, but need to know how Belviq will help.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
People, all of the teenagers in America can post pictures on twitter and instagram ... why can't someone do this so that it can be put to rest. If this is true, this is super, super, great news. If I were short, I would cover before the market opens. Us longs had a bad week, so someone just post it...(I tried to look at the OCT issue on NEXT ISSUE, but it will not allow me to do this on my MacBook).
