Close to 2 billion dollars in lost market cap and the board will not replace jack leif with a competent ceo....why not???? is arena corrupt from top to bottom??? on what reasoning do they keep this totally incompetent as ceo?????
JACK is NOT a "businessman". You ought to know this by now. He has the organization skills necessary to "create" the product - BUT ABSOLUTELY NOT the skills needed to execute EFFECTIVELY a plan to promote corporate GROWTH on a playing field where the big boys of wall street roam!! Plane and simple.
I agree we NEED new blood with FRESH ideas and who HAVE experiance on the WS playing field (and keep Jack on the BOD). Jack is an "ideas" man, NOT a "businessman" and ANYONE who has been long this stock, already knows this!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I don't think Jack is incompetent but I'd rather see him get help from a new leader (president and/or ceo) and remain as board member. An executive of big pharma with solid business growth and big picture experience, with solid relationship building experience -- credibility -- solid presentation skills -- sales blood -- and an MBA is what Arena needs in order to be taken seriously by Wall Street.
The other option is incredibly good numbers. Even with incredibly good numbers, the above change will make the company even better. Jack should seriously think about this.
Only thing corrupt from the top to the bottom is the industry professionals within Wall Street. Arena management set out to create a safe alternative to Fenfloramine to make a safe Fen Phen and they did exactly what they set out to do. The brought in partnerships at favorable terms and are continuing to expand our pipeline. Not sure how success can be called corruption....
I think you have become very jaded..
