Coach I agree, product exposure and brand recognition is extremely important. The problem is they are not Nike, do not have the potential market base as Nike and cannot spend like Nike and expect to return shareholder value.
An effective marketing strategy is one that returns a profit , not one that keeps digging a deeper and deeper hole.
Having their logo on the mat on Fox won't do crap. Now if they followed it up with 3 or 4 commercials during the event. Hard selling, effective, take action commercials and not image commercials - that would be smart. But just matt placement - most will not even notice or even care.
BTW - what ever happened to Medicaid? I knew they were full of crap with that.
Anyway - look forward to UFC tonight. I think dos Santos will pull it off.
One thing to note. Sports nutrition supplements are not main stream. UFC is not main stream. And neither will ever be main stream. As much as you want to think they are or will be, they will not. Still a good size market but not main stream kind of size.
