    MP Needs to Sue

Beast sports nutrition. Has anyone seen their latest branding? WOW. Go to their website if you haven't (Yahoo does not allow any links at all!).

It is CLEARLY a ripoff of the MP logo, and should be trademark infringement as their logo is trademarked. I don't know much about them, but from doing some research, they seem to be having good traction so far.

Just goes to show there is a lot of competition in this area. Also shows that MP is doing something so well that others are attempting to copy their branding success. IMO MP should seriously consider buying beast or suing their #$%$ off...

Imitation is not always the sincerest form of flattery. After a year-long legal battle between two well-known sports nutrition companies, BEAST Sports Nutrition has emerged victorious over MusclePharm, Inc.
BEAST Sports Nutrition announced that Denver-based MusclePharm has conceded and agreed to discontinue use and sales of any and all material referencing BEAST Sports Nutrition’s trademarks including “Beast” and “Beast Mode".
BEAST Sports Nutrition’s trademark infringement claims were based on a MusclePharm’s alleged unauthorized use and representation of the BEAST trademarks. In a statement by company president Anthony Altieri, he said, “We’ve spent the last 17 years building BEAST into a well known and trusted brand and will enforce our trademark rights to the fullest extent of the law.”
BEAST Sport Nutrition’s attorney, Ryan Kaiser of Amin Talati, LLC, commented, “We’re pleased with the results here. MusclePharm acknowledged the validity of BEAST's exclusive right to use its BEAST trademarks in connection with dietary supplements.” Exact terms of the settlement agreement were not disclosed.

    • I tried to reply, but apparently since i put a website in the post - it doesnt even register. YAHOO IS A POS message board - IDK why I still use it.
ANYWAYS Im not sure when both company changed their labeling, but BEAST has been around since 2005, while MP is only since 2009. However, I have a feeling they have a company that is making their labeling - thus its probably the same company that makes BEAST..... IDK for sure.
Either way, MP is in alot better shape, and GREEN is their color, everyone knows that.
