I'm not sure that this 2 -3 day drop was due to mistrust of management, did they trust management a week or so ago when it was going up to 3.87?
I think juddman's theory of manipulation fits better with what has happened in the past 2 weeks. I really was trying to bail out of this by Feb.15th with a profit but starting to look like a loss. I'm glad I came to this board and highly value the opinions of some. Even if I sell I will visit for gologin biotech tips and maybe trade this stock a little. May join you in shorting netflix when I see it cooling off a bit. Trying to catch tops when shorting is a bit dangerous as you well know. I lost 1/2 million shorting blackberry on margin at its highs in a couple of weeks.
My point is, siana, that if there was a demand for the stock, even at this ridiculously low stock, no one would be ABLE to manipulate it because you would have far too much buying demand. When no one wants to buy it, they can run it up on nothing, suck in a few suckers, and then drop it back down. If there were fund managers that thought Rose knew what he was doing and that this stock was definitely going to be worth more than it is now, they'd be buying it up and it wouldn't get manipulated to the upside or the downside. This pattern has gone on now for close to 2 years. Oh, and let's not forget that Rose has YET to show any confidence in the company himself, by personally investing in shares. If a CEO doesn't buy shares this low, why the h3ll would a fund manager buy it?
Hi Pretty! Been away from he board for a while. Just dropped I. For old time sake. "The world is a vampire". Yup, I went long on SIGA and short on NFLX. What a maroon. Hang in there, in 50 years none of this will matter!
I have about 48K loose cash laying around and there are a lot of stocks that have pulled back.
Aside from Siga which I have 20k already(back in the red with this recent drop) and PIP 20K shares also, what biotech would you suggest? ARIA,,BDSI,KPTI,PGNX,TTPH,RLYP or another?
