Really, who taught some of you ninkenboops Investing 101? Anyone that buys a company like JNJ, PG, Coke, etc are not looking for major movements in share pricing........of course thats just great when it happens, but instead these companies are for LOOOOOOOOONG TERM investments for dividends and reinvesting the payouts.
I have 5 figure amount of shares and do you know what? I don't even remember how much they cost me.........and I continue to INVEST in these types of companies.
Coke is different than Tide. I notice that the discount detergents are getting more shelf space than Tide. I asked the guy stocking the detergents and he said "Tide is just too expensive and we can't sell it"
Just something to think about. I have no interest in P&G. I would rather own Hershey or Altria. People don't scrimp on chocolate and cigarettes
