A vast number of vz workers abuse FMLA. Most haves cases that allows more time off than is imaginable. Ex: Johnny union has an approved absence fhat allows for 2 days off per week per month for the next 12 months not to exceed 60 days over a 12 month period. In essence, Johnny is getting an additional 5 weeks off per year. Add that to his 5 weeks of vacation and Johnny has 10 weeks off per year. Add to that their double time on Sundays and their 1400 dollar a week salary and you will begin to understand why Verizon is such an evil company. The evil company even allows them a 1/2 day on Christmas eve, not negotiated, so they can be with their families. Yes, this evil company must be brought down to its knees.
Fmla is there for people who need it. None in my garage abuses it. If they did I'm sure they would be aware that the company would be looking at them. To maybe fire them for something else. Truth is Lowell mcadams is a union bashed much like wall mart. It's all about corporate greed and nothing else.
