Verizon stole $60.00 (upgrade fee) out of my pocket after being a loyal customer for years.What the hell is a upgrade fee.I asked what it was for and they stated for upgrading to data.So They take money from the customer so the customer can spend more money with them.It is mentality like this that will get them in time.I called and was told that other companies charge $35.00. Is this supposed to make me feel better?Then the lady started acting like we had a bad connection and hung up. Did she call back well of course not.Its not like she did not have my number.Best service out there Worst customer relations out there.
What I was told when I asked the same question was it was the fee they now charge when you upgrade to a new phone with 2-year pricing. My question then is why the heck don't they just raise the two year pricing of new phones by $30, rather than hiding yet another fee!!!!
