FINALLY THE STREET WILL REALIZE THIS UNDERVALUED SEMICONDUCTOR STOCK IS GOLD. GOING TO 26 CHEW CHEW. Been at 21 for months isnt the MM bored of this price?
AMD is 14 PE with 08 earnings projected.
plus its a PE of 11 when you take out the cash off the share price. AMD needs to go higher.
"I do not believe that posting negative views on this board
can influence stock price"
But you post here often and always negatives, so your motive, since you attest that you are not paid is altruistic. As one should say, "you are as convincing as a wet kipper"
<<< If you believe it does, then you got to assume that everybody posting here deals with millions of shares on a regular basis.>>>
I don't have millions of shares. I don't see how you draw your conclusion.
I think it's a safe bet that people think they can create enough FUD to "help" a short attack be successful.
In the long run - I think bashing makes little difference, but in the very short term, I bet it can.
I do not believe that posting negative views on this board
can influence stock price. If you believe it does, then you got to assume that everybody posting here deals with millions of shares on a regular basis. Such an assumption is a bit unrealistic. In any case, good luck to you.
Dr. Max is posting extemely often, and simplicity and frequency of his posts does appear to point to the conclusion you've made. However, I'm personally not aware
of Intel Corp having policy of paying anybody for posting
on this board. Therefore, I can agree that he can be classified as AMD "basher", but I do not believe he makes any income by doing it.
I'm all for fair and open discussion - but when ever other poster is a basher like dr. max - it's easy to "label" someone pretty quick.
Would you agree Dr. Max is most likely a paid basher?
I agree completly, investors have not moved in due to fear over the ATI deal, but this quarter will clear that up. Investors with insight will see trough the BS and buy in early. MM's won't be able to hold AMD back much longer and will have to surender, so will the 25M shorts! $26 - $30 by the CC.
I agree that next week's analyst meeting should be AMD's time to shine. Unfortunately, my feeling is that the depth of the WS "hatred" for AMD may be VERY deep seated. GS was the most vocal and antagonistic during the last CC. They WERE a major AMD holder during the 2Q...and now they are either OUT completely or atleast off the radar screen of major holders (no longer listed as a major holder). GS is VERY powerful...and AMD must pullout ALL the stops to not only convince the rank and file MMs...but must also be convincing enough to win back GS as well in order to "change the course of mighty rivers"...IMHO. Next week's meeting may be nothing more that step one in a campaign with WS that AMD must win. I am in AMD up to my ears....and will stay there because I know it is great company with a great management team and a great future.
Good luck and stay tuned to the analyst meeting.
