in the last 6 months ..
I sort of lost track and could use some help.
Funny takeover attempts ..usually stocks go up at least 30% in one shot ....or more.. amd has trouble holding 7.00
when the fablite savings start kicking in the stock will soar to over 40.00 in weeks.
You got the point.
The AMD's "price" is garbage or Waste price, not the company itself.
Anybody can pick it up at cheap garbage price now.
I would welcome even the WM come to take over if they got right price.
AMD may never win over Intel, but think about the China and India and all other underdeveloped countries that will eventually grow, and computer user will explode like US in 80's and 90's.
They will need "BILLIONS" of computers in next few years, and who will supply their CPU?
One thing for sure is that they cannot afford expensive Intel, and even cheaper AMD CPU are too expensive.
Only possibility is that some big Asian fund or company will build a cheap means of producing low end computer CPU to supply astronomical demands for low priced computers for those low income people in underdeveloped country in their own low cost manufacturing facilities.
So, smaller, cheaper but very competive AMD who does not have Fab is perfect fit for the buyout target by thoes Asian companies.
The suitors should be some Chinese, Indian, or close-by japanese Korean company.
It could be any time sooner than later, before it become too expensive by next years.
I see some signs watching resent strong price movements.
It might triger bidding war.
