I just keep reading news but happen to just see future cpu onto the market not now and might be a delay. We have went from 3.4 to 3.85 now that is .45. That is high for 3 days gains for a 3 dollar stock.
Having fun down voting my comments? Not that it matters to me, especially not when it's from an ex Intel employee who used to spread the message on investment boards "Never to sell Intel".
"Up"? AMD is still almost a buck below a previous low that held for 5 years. This is called fattening the pigs up for the slaughter, and it's something we've seen repeated scores of times with AMD. It's a key element of a pump and dump play; the only reliable way to make money trading AMD over the decades.
You are being pumped. You will then be dumped. When AMD's revenues from operations in the current quarter show that it is not operating profitably without one-time infusions like the Singapore real estate transaction, the share price will test the low 2s again.
no real reasons other than some of the shorts decided to cover as Nov is approaching, there could be a positive surprise to the console sale volume number so they don;t want to get caught with their pants down.
IMO shorts starting to cover when a few days ago Lisa Su stated it's operating margin that are in the low double digits for the consoles (implying not gross margins).
Strike me though we have a substantial spike in buys during the current Apple event. Don't think Apple is using an AMD APU or SoC, but who knows?
