    CEOs Clean Out Cash Register

Wow, it seems like just yesterday when the prior CEO wiped out a quarter with severance pay for himself....

Oh, and P.S.: the stock price is the same as it was 11.5 years ago.

To sum up: No shareholder value creation; fat cat retiring on the shareholders' dime; health care benefits for himself and family probably taken care of by shareholders for the rest of their lives.

    • Its an illusion now if anyone thinks that capitalism is about shareholders. Shareholders haven't made out in the last 10 years but management has done quite well during this period yet the poor shareholder in many cases have seen their stock prices below the purchase price. And this is in a period where they've move their operations and out source everything to cheap labor countries yet the stock price has done nothing. maybe its because management has taken those so called gains in compensation and diluting the equity with rich stock option rewards. So what we've learned from the last ten years is that management has taken care of themselves before shareholders. Finally - all these years and no dividend - why?
