Either you beleive or you dont...

First of all they are not giving their stuff away for free...they are putting it on a trial basis... Sales 101....

Majority of time when you can get your product in a clients and they use it... it is usually a slam dunk...

The only hiccup would be if their maching does not work or they have crappy customer service....

They sold two machines last year...one was returned...the first one they sold... everything is a learning curve especially with a new technology...

The company has credibility....scientists are a unique bunch..they spent alot of time building their reputations with their egos to match... they are not going to jeopardize it.

The only way they are going to get their technology accepted is by building a client reference list in commercial applications.... they are doing it right now...

is their technology better then the competitions....according to what I have read out there in laymans terms.... yes....

The question is either you beleive or you don't.
Have the fundamentals changed since you initially purchased this... for me ...two things changed...

    1. They took themselves out of the market to be purchased...this annoucement alone sank it to $1.50.

    2. They did an offering at a 1.00.... that sank it the rest of the way...

Did anything else change.... not really...the technology is still in front of the others... They have made sales.... technology is in the process of being accepted by the commercial sector...In my thinking .... none of the fundamentals have really changed except now they have 8 million dollars in their coffers... 2 million grant plus the 6 million in sales... My initial purchase was at 2.00, then 1.50, then .95. In my opinion I just bought this at a discount... I dont think it will hit .50... I think we are at the bottom now...

I think after the holidays we will see 2.00 by end of January... and after that we will see 5.00 by April...

Anyway...these last 10 messages on this board or so....is written by someone emotional and is not looking at the possiblities. The possibilities for this company are phenominal.....the possibility also exist for loosing your investment....

For me the upside is far greater then the downside....the downside is only .95 from this point...but the upside is huge if they succeed....

    Investigate, read, digest and decide...

it does come down to whether a retail shareholder can hold/buy here with conviction -- some may believe they have been ill treated by the dilution and leave -- folks who decide to stay and buy more could benefit by the washout-- time will tell

    • Indeed, their Investors Relations dept hasn't replied any of my e-mails even after stating my previous long position in their stock. They absolutely need to learn how to communicate with investors and get out of that ivory tower. Although I remain confident in their technology, I am very disappointed with HLCS's treatment of their retail shareholders.

    • You say the downside is only .95 from this point, that makes no sense because if someone invested at or above that price that is still a 100% loss if it went to zero.

    • I will save my believing for church. I guess i am not a true believer of HLCS

    • i tend to think this will trend down another 40 or 50 cents before stabilizing then trade in the penny stock range....as long as it doesn't go under.

    • Incorrect premise. Investing is about putting a sizeable fraction of capital at risk when the risk profile is low and the payoff is very high. If the market crashes in 2010 and HLCS holds it's price level without declining, then the risk will be low.

What's that saying, 'the last $1 in a stock's decline costs investors the most money'.

Believing is gambling with the information retail can obtain, regarding a company's fundamental prospects. The hedge funds know how to get inside information and we all know that investment banks are dishonest. You are playing against the house, wishing and hoping.

      • I agree with you gbolt, the hedgies and IB's have the upper hand for sure.

But what do you think about Boris' comments above, "Shorts gang up on a company’s shares and drive it down. Company is in danger of failing and therefore no one is willing to risk purchasing the company’s product. Shorts arrange a private placement so that they don’t have to cover in the open market and drive back up the shares. In the press they have saved the day, but in reality they created a large artificial supply of shares at the time they began shorting, and so when they bought the shares back from the company for a song they had made money on the way down and then assumed a significant ownership position which massively diluted existing shareholders".

Seems somewhat consistent with your view, no?

    • Janet that post has me racking my two brain cells working overtime as this whole process was probably more or less spoke about by the news release after they brought the " For Sale " sign down. Without notifying the SEC other than what they did with the shelf someway it's created for them a money making opportunity possibly as they were also deluting all shares of which they and their VC's hold the lions share of? If there was a short generated offering it's not inconceiveable as there wouldn't be enough shares to cover at the rate things were happening at that 1.50 level. I still don't have this wrapped around my feeble mind yet but can see by the level we've stayed at and the volume here unlike the 1.50 level seems to indicate Institutional attention on both sides. This can't be all covering as there's too many shares traded for no shares are counted when the borrowed shares are paid for? If that was the case and they were indeed covering then going long that would create back to back sales of the same number of shares. This is nothing more than an Idiots opinions. Please do your own dd.

    • well said sir...my sentiments indeed...I would only add (alougth this is conjecture at this point until we have confirmation in due course) that one additional thing will have changed is that at these disounted levels we will see the big boys having come on board too !
Ps : I am long with a similar buying history.
