I was watching that gap also. My interpretation is that since the dollar tried to fill it earlier this month but then reversed so sharply and decisively it won't challenge it again in the near term. I like your tgt of about $92.50 for now, but then I'm guessing substantially lower from there. I have no definite downside target, but I think we'll see sub 90 before we fill that gap. Just MHO.
MACD crossed zero and went positive in late June the last time the dollar moved through the 50 DMA. Earlier this month, MACD couldn't move positive and the dollar bounced off of the 50 DMA. I had expected more strenth then; I don't now. Let's see if MACD can get positive. If so, then the dollar might touch the 200 DMA.
