Just kidding about the "maximum wage", though you have to admit that does sound like an Obama idea. Definitely agree with where you are coming from. Especially here in Sillycon Valley San Jose. There is a small wealthy class that keeps getting more and more wealthy and an vastly expanding poor and entitlement class (not sure if *class* is the right word). It's so expensive to live here (one bedroom phone booth apartments going for $2000 or more a month) that even if you raised the minimum wage to $15 it would not even begin to put a dent in the situation. The only solution for some is to move somewhere else that is cheaper to live at because, not everybody can be a network engineer or Google web developer.
