The chart is weak, why would anyone buy this before earnings?
Last quarter the stock unexpectedly jumped almost 100 points. That's because you had traders accumulating months ahead of the earnings. Now they're unwinding, as the numbers are unsustainable. More importantly, the monthly, weekly, and daily charts are weak, indicating regardless of the numbers after the bell today, the stock will more than likely fall.
Yet there are some buying (or more likely covering) in pre-market.
