This keeps going up and up and up. Anyone who owns stock in this thing know the history and ever used Netflix? Do a little research, try it out.... then see if you remain invested... at most, this thing is worth $30-50/share.
I buy the service because Brit, Swede, Danish and French serials are usually better than ours. Parents buy it to trance their zombies (preparatory for adult zombihood) and people who enjoy movies buy it. At $7.99 a month it's a terrific bargain.
I'm also a history buff who has made big bucks plowing stocks. Netflix is dominate in sector. The streaming entertainment industry may generate $30-$40 billion annually in a few years. Brand alone may be worth $50/sh. The fact that institutions are staking small positions and hedge funds larger positions should surprise no one. Runaway valuations are typical in these situations. The fact that Netflix doesn't have bankable assets doesn't matter. Our entire banking industry since 2008 doesn't have assets.
I wouldn't be long the stock, but being short is risky.
