I've owned this fund off and on for five years, and have averaged a total return of 11 - 17% each and every year, which is the most you could ever hope for on a ETF bond fund. I normally sell this when it gets close to the $26 range and repurchase when it dips below $23. The distribution rate has remained steady, with an added distribution at the end of some years. Right now, the discount to NAV is over 9%. Don't buy it right before or right after the ex-dividend date, due to price volatility. If you buy it now for about $23, you should realize a total return during the next 12 months of 10 - 14%. lol
They seem to routinely bottom between 22 and 23, but I think all bets are off until the surrounding market murk begins to clear. I still believe it's a good position as inevitable fed rate lowering will make avk more attractive. They seem to have quickly reduced thier finanacial sector exposure during the July debacle. Also, they will take your calls, at least for a while.
