My Dad died a little over 5 months ago. He loved the investing game. He was a buy and hold and average in at different prices, kind of guy. He did very well for himself over the years. He knew he was dying so he pulled me aside to go over his portfolio positions. He was happy the way he was set up. He asked me to promise him 1 thing. That I would not sell any of his positions for one year. After that he told me to evaluate and do what I thought was needed. I agreed(kind of reluctantly). Well, I have to say, I broke that promise. And thank GOODNESS I did. I didn't know anything about PAY. So, I did a lot of homework and came to the realization that this Company was garbage. I couldn't believe my Dad liked it so much. He was usually very astute. Anyway, I went against my promise and I sold his entire position 5 weeks ago. I am sure he is proud of me today.
