Daimler Raises North American Truck Sales Estimate LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Daimler Trucks raised its estimate for 2011 industrywide sales of Class 6-8 trucks in North America to a gain of 30% to 35% over last year, to 286,000 trucks, company executives said. 4.1.2011
Yes very good post. Smart money investers like sirius and transportexpert should do some research and invest in companies that make DEF(diesel exhaust fluid) since all these new trucks need it run. That's a tip from a PETRO janitor.
CIM give a similar prediction couple of months ago as I posted here....they are seeing a secular bull market in new trucks starting in 2011 with new trucks hitting north of 274K unit and going into next year at similar or higher rates....
All we need now is a couple of cents of additional fuel margin and the numbers are going to get hit out of the park!
