    2011 Truck Orders Soar 68.6%

I hope you know this means nothing for TA because this is Fleets replacing there older truckers it dosen't mean more drivers pulling into TA anywhere. It more cost effective to replace an older truck before it starts breaking down on the road under a load. And i know you know this already. but i'm writing Sirius and the other dummies.

    • I am sure that is 100% replacement? You know, if there was not increasing business replacements would not occur at a very fast pace. Something is wrong with your logic. The data says the economy is improving, you just need to get used to it. Also, Transports have been improving earnings, now go ahead and tell me that trains do not mean anything to trucks? Not quite, all the transports are improving and if trains are so is trucking, because I hardly ever see a train delivering to a grocery store. Maybe you are the dummie?

      • no no...he knows this personally because every night a train pulls up into his a$$! lol....On this topic a couple of the truck manufacturers last year noted last year plus next 5 year will be a booming business as more new trucks will be ordered put by fleets and by individual owners. Some for replacement but some as additional truck as requirement for haul tonnage is increase every year from 2011. ATA even has stated that the next 20 years will be huge for trucking industry. The only idiots that disagree are Travel and ibn here! lol
