N-Q for iShares Trust (700k shares)

Form N-Q for iShares Trust was filed 8/29 (late) for the period ended June 30, 2013:

    65,279  iShares micro-cap ETF
    436,045  iShares Russell 2000 ETF
190,547  iShares Russell 2000 Growth ETF
    6,766  iShares Russell 3000 ETF
1,256  iShares Russell 3000 Growth ETF
    (total: 699,893)

    other late filers include:

104,800  Fidelity Central Investment Portfolios LLC
    23,404  Northern Funds
    3,300  Fidelity Capital Trust

which means the total FMR ownership so far identified from various FMR funds is 4,329,358 (11.1% of outstanding shares) despite their recent "selling". BTW, the 104,800 in Fidelity Central Investment Porfolios (as of June 30, 2013) was not present in their previous N-Q for May 31, 2013 (they are constantly moving stuff around, to give the impression of selling??) ...and tracking who shorts what and when is impossible.

Anyway, total insti ownership (excluding the 1M+ shares in Insmed BOD/mgt hands) is now 23,138,223 (59.3% of outstanding shares)
or 24,312,460 (62.5%) including Insmed BOD/mgt holding (and mine).

    • You might also consider the non-reported 5%-plus positions of the original Transave stockholders. The SEC filings for the Insmed AGMs since 2010 have always detailed those holdings.

And the last time I checked, two of the stockholders which had holdings of less than 5% after the merger were still listing Insmed in their portfolios.
