Think the biggest negative impact will be on engineering. The Energy group was absorbing a lot of corporate overhead cost. Wood Group is in the energy business. They understand and will react quicker to the clients need. BKR could never grasp that.
WHY would they want to do this? I have just started looking into BKR, but to my naive view, energy seems to be a strength for the company. It does not appear to make sense to sell this off, so what is the advantage?
I agree with louie..... where is the announcement.......how reliable is you contact?
I am sure Shaw would like energy gone. From what I heard, Energy would like to see Airside gone. Mutual Agreement
Where is it announced? I can't find it.
Isn't that where some of Energy's managers went a few years ago? I am sure Wood will keep the field personnel but I wonder if they will keep any of the Houston and Lafayette office staff? I know there is dancing in Moon County, Energy has been a thorn in Shaw's side for a long time.
