IIt didnt take long for the shorts to start again with their usual blarney and misinformation. He reflects increasing costs, rather than decreasing as per the last report Whiting Petro the parent t has been very inovative in extracting additional oil from exidting wells, It has its own pipeline, it has lowered the costs of new wells. He shows a small value when in reality it is at least 3.50. Another interesting point to know is that after this trust is satisified, Whiting Petro will enjoy almost 40 million in additional distributions according to their schedule which makes Whiting Petro an excellent long term investment. The trust got paid 80 per bbl for oil and I still think it should have been at least 84-85
which would have made the distribution even higher Next qtr we can anticipate close to 90 if oil continues to rise. Remember we are now exporting oil from Cushing , and the future of Natural gas will go up .
Its a typical patern with these shorts that pretend to be "analysts" writing scathing reports on SA. WHX had two good quarters that actuallty surprised the street, SA should be shut down by the SEC or at least be sanctioned.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
fav -- I agree that SA should be shut down when they allow self serving traders to write negative articles on WHX so they can short WHX for their won benefit. We get one of these articles each time WHX has a run up for the dividend. The negative WHX writers make it sound as if there has never been an article to alert the public and they are acting like Superman to save the general public, meanwhile they are shorting WHX. I agree that SA should not allow this. If it was just one article each quarter, that would be fine, but not self serving articles for traders. Regards.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
The writer doesn't seem to get the significance of a $.53/share quarterly dividend payout. While his dire warnings might be useful to long term investors, assett valuations are not the issue.
However, it appears that crude prices are in decline for the time being and are headed towards $95.50/bbl or so. Should impact WHX in the next quarter.
ariel -- The 'writer' is doing everything he can to beat down WHX for his own benefit. This is his 1st article for SA ... what a joke. An excellent article was written by a real analyst a few months back pointed out the value of WHX. We do not need another article from someone that is writing so they can short WHX.
