Tech, you may be right about selling the company, but I am not so sure why a US company would buy it. In any event, it would be worth cash plus maybe a little premium. I still am not real clear on what the spinoff is going to subtract from our bottom line, and have stated my assumptions earlier. Will be glad to see this some to close one way or the other.
Seems to leave one guessing. How much cash is going to be burned on this? It looks like $20million on a convertible bond repayable in part in Newco shares. Okay, if that's it, sounds reasonable. I thought Jack Lu was the chairman of the board as well as ceo. Who is the new chair? This has been a soap opera in the past. How many re-structurings does this company have to go through to get to a successful business model? If they really are prepping this for sale and giving Jack Lu something else to do in the future, I am okay with that too, why after all would he otherwise be leaving the mother ship (cash)? Bottom line, what does this put in general shareholders' pockets? No word on that, so who knows. SHOW US THE MONEY.
