-Just cancel my annual service with Magic Jack after they want me to pay extra $9.95/yr annually to keep my ported number a year ago. I paid $20 for my landline number transfer to Magic Jack so I can keep my old phone number. Last year when I order to have my phone number transfer, there was nothing mention I have to pay $9.95/yr otherwise I would have pick a new number instead.
-I had a long chart with customer service, they were helpful, they say the charge $9.95 mention in FAQ. Yes, it is there now but it wasn't there when I order my Magic Jack last Jan 2012. They change the policy and expect me to pay for it?
-I am very disappointed with Magic Jack billing. I am ordering NetTalk Duo (I heard it works better), they charge only one time fee $20 to transfer my number. It's not that I can't pay extra $9.95/yr, it's because I feel like cheated. Paid $90 last year ($70 for MJ plus and $20 for number transfer).
-Too bad that MJ just lost a customer and I am sure there will be more disappointed customers like me in the future. Now I understand why CALL has 58% short float...Another note, Magic Jack Plus is not suitable for business, they mention it in Term Of Service, you cannot make over certain number of call in one day.
-I must say, Magic Jack Plus works wonderful, I have no complaint about the technology, occasionally I have a drop call but I just hanged up and redial. Even when I test load my DSL line with full speed 12Mbps and I can still make a call.
Disclosure: I don't own any CALL stocks at the moment.
I read somewhere the company offered its MJ customers the option to "port" their MJ number to MJ+, and that there is an annual fee to keep this "ported" number. It doesn't sound believable, but this company has done other things. Good luck with NetTalk.
What's happens, someone call me basher and I stop posting but CALL still going down. Not bashing here, I only post what's happens as a MJ customer....not interested in buying CALL now.
-Here is a tip for you, $16 looks like a good support but if the volume come in today @ 1.5mil shares. $13 is calling. You should know that already.

Hey BP007 you might be legit with your complaint, but this ISN'T customer service. You feel offended...so what....put your money where your mouth is and buy or go short ( no you can't cuz you tried right?) You are a basher with no position....who cares and please cancel the service so we don't have to hear you whine. Have a nice time paying more with the other guy.
-Yep, I already cancel the service. I switch to NetTalk Duo, great call quality and offer more feature that MJ+ doesn't have. Cost only $30/yr and it's American company with hotline too. Buy American. You wonder why you have to chat with MJ+ customer service? because those customer service agents are overseas. Where is the job for American? No more paying for foreign company.
-FYI: I don't invest in foreign company stock including Chinese company. If they lie about their balance sheet, you can't put them in jail. And the next thing is the retail investors will take years to write off those tax losses.
-I don't like to short stock, just go long with any stock that have volume with at least 3mil shares average (more liquid and spread is narrow).
-You can't short CALL, no share to borrow. You just give it a try, put a short sell price really high, $20 may be, your order will get rejected, that's telling no share to short.
