If I'm reading this right, ETP's net income per share (excluding sale of propane and subsequent debt extinguishment) was a grand total of about 15 cents per share. What a sucky quarter!!!
Sorry, Arb - but you're dead wrong. Go ahead and google tradedollarnut.
Don't make assumptions about how much one might be willing to put into a stock if they believe in it and have observed how it behaves. I bought 20k shares each at $43, 44, 46 and 47 over the past few quarters and just sold them all at $48, 49, 50.6 and 50.9
Probably should've bought back 20k at $46, but I suspect this summer will bring weakness and I can get it for $44 or $45. Only time will tell
If someobdy owned 80K units a couple of things do not make sense. They first would call rthem units and second they would not make any comment about net profit but would instaed comment on DCF per unit.
Am I missing that ETP has NO shares outstanding, pays no dividend and is in the middle of a huge transition.
PS - anyone with $4M invested in ETp and a sane portfolio of no more than 5% in any one position has a net worth of about $75M. I truly do not think such a person would be trolling about Yahoo. There are much more professional sites like IV.
I just don't understand why anyone would think that just because you have a good sized portfolio and were able to accumulate a great many of shares, that you would be considered unfit to be on this message board. Anyway, scooped up more shares today on weakness. GLTA.
