The only thing that comes to mind is that folks either got spooked or wanted to raise cash. Natgas future prices have been falling so I would expect APU's raw materials costs to fall. Unfortuantely I prepaid 330 gallons for the winter at $3.10/gal; perhaps I should have waited. Oh well. I've had APU in my IRA for ten years and it just churns out cash reliably.
There will be a snap back rally after credit eases by way of multiple govt. unified interventions. Just wait, 30 year fixed will go back to near 5% for those qualified. In addition, whoever gets in as Pres. will spend huge on infrastructure. Fork lifts and other machinery depend on Propane, not just grillers.
