Is there life on this board?

    • I'm thinking seriously about buying more APU,
even at current prices. I think there's a chance that
this thing moves up to 20 or so. I checked my trading
records and found that I sold this thing back in 98 at 24
1/4. I'm hoping to get lucky again.

      I have
narrowed my holdings down to NBP, TPP, HRP, HR, and ZTR,
with heavy weightings in each. I'll check out SSS and
ENN tomorrow morning. Thanks for the ideas, and good

    • I'm also buying. I am a little surprised that

APU has dropped even if only in very small increments

I've been buying from 16 1/2, capturing the dividend
at some great prices. I waited for about 6 months
before buying realizing that there would be some drops
      after the dividend payout.

      With the rough winter
coming we should be revenue strong as APU has a large
customer base. The only snag might be in the price of Ng
and propane which I'm expecting will be passed on to
      the consumer.

I'm looking to keep adding at
these prices up to 17 for now.

      Like you, I'm
wondering, are we missing something with this one?

        So far, so
good (from the consumer side). I bought 410 gallons a
couple of weeks ago at $1.72/gallon vs $1.19/gallon last
year. I was expecting closer to $3.

      • Same here...I started buying at 15 7/8, bought as
high as 17, and have finished building my position in
        the mid 15s.

My hunch is most of the selling
pressure is tax selling, maybe even some margin selling in
the past few days. Talked with investor relations
last week, and got the feeling that they are in very
        good shape.

I'm betting on a similar move to
last January, when the price popped up to about 18
1/2. With any luck and some more cold weather, not to
mention declining rates and falling NASDAQ prices, it
seems possible that we could see something above

Here are a few of my other favorite positions. I'd be
        interested in any of yours:

        HRP, NBP, TPP, LHP
