    Is NFX management team arrogant?

I talked to people with opinions both ways on this. Anybody want to throw in their $0.02?

    • Yes, CEO Lee Boothby is arrogant, in that he thinks the stock market will see his good results and not how it is presented.

For example, many E&P companies are taking on debt to increase their production. Eventually, the debt supply will be at its limit and growth will slow/stop. PXD and COG are good examples of this. The stock market believes this is a superior result and rewards stocks like PXD and COG.

Boothby thinks the market should see NFX strong cash flow and lack of growing debt (living within our means), but it does not. He also believes he can present problems to the shareholders, without any solution, believing the market knows he is such a good CEO that the problem will be taken care of in the long run and he will be seen as over performing. The 25% international production drop turd is a good example.

NFX stock has collapsed and Boothby has not take responsibility for it because he believes he is doing a good job and not responsible for a blind stock market....Arrogance!
