Plain and simple BS. Shorts see a stock in a difficult position, and play on the emotions of the weak. Calpine is a rock solid company. Earnings for 2001 were ORIGINALLY forecasted a year ago at $1.30 a share and ended up $1.95 a share. Calpine has had no problem raising money in the capital markets, and will crank in far more cash this year as more plants go into operation. Bye-bye shorts.
