Where is everyone? It's been six weeks since the last posting appeared on this board. No interest? A year or two ago this was a very active board with comments, disagreements and information that gave light to the potential of this stock. Parker has just closed it's fiscal year June 30th and have gone through the forecasting and planning process by Group/Division for the new fiscal year. Yet nothing has been posted from employees, shareholders, or other interested parties. Long gone are those individuals who made this an interesting board to read and comment on. Parker jusr added a new member to their Board of Directors whose background differs from the normal Parker business history. What's changing or is it? I have to believe that the management team at Parker who did a great job of bringing them out of the 2008 economic disaster is not sitting on their laurels. What's up?????
Just a added note: Sincere condolences to Don Washkewicz (Parker CEO) on the passing of his mother. At age 97 she surely had a full and proud life.
Didn't your broker tell you that? It's an up and down stock subject to economic news. Great long range history, pays a consistent dividend for over fifty years. Leader in the motion control industry with a strong independent distributor network. Leader in component and system product offerings in the hydraulic and pneumatic makets and diversity in industrial, agricultural, and aerospace markets. Strong balance sheet and with consistent cash flow control. In the past has had an early impact from a decline in the economy but likewise has an early impact from a rebound. Primarily inbred management through progression. Good history.
