No deal baby. why do i hang on to this stock? congrats to you who sold at $38. Oh i'll sleep alright b/c i think mgrc is well run. Now whose left forbuyout? GE, Buffet, but they won't price it as rich as TYC. damn shame. I think stock is dead in the water for at least 6 months. However the economy will pick up and this stock will zoom again.
Zoom to where? The only reason it did zoom as far as I can tell was due to the TYCO purchase announcement. Is the shareholder value really in a 72 cent dividend vs. a $ 11.00 increase in per share price due to the potential sell? Of course this is all a moot point until there is another willing buyer to complete the transaction equation = willing seller & willing buyer. I think McGrath can sell it's entire operation in sections; manufacturing, electronics and modulars; for a lot more than $ 24.70 or even $ 38.00 per share.
