I am thinking of doing business with this bank.Comments?
Thought it was kind of interesting that BBT's proxy doesn't use 5 years of comparison figures for the return on $100 invested in their stock. Guess there are more ways than one to try to make yourself look good. How many of the executives and BOD's have ben paid over and over for the same sad results in the share price?Take a look at the price of a share of stock at the end of 2006.Guess the old saying is true that "figures don't lie, but liars do figure"
That's another good observation, but please don't ask Norm, he'll give you a tutorial on loan loss reserves from 2006 and yields on their cash pile (his analysis is a pile of a different sort.....mwahahaha).
Very good bank to do business with.
What are your requirements?
