    10 "Employees" means nothing

I've been seeing a lot of recent posts regarding the fact that ONCS has 10 employees. Some people are alarmed by this. It's obvious that these people have little experience in business, particularly business ownership.

See, not every person in an organization is an "employee", and not every person needs to be. Employees are very expensive, especially with new healthcare laws, and especially when you're operating in the state of California. I think the fact they have only 10 "employees" is commendable, and a testament to their efficiency. ONCS obviously has more than 10 people in their team, and this consists of an expansive network of doctors, researchers, contract employees, free-lance consultants, temps, and interns. While none of these people are techinically "employees", they are still vital resources, and cost about half as much as employees do. These people don't require half of the BS that comes with employees, yet they allow ONCS to get things done, and focus only on what needs to get done.

So if you're looking to find faults in ONCS, this is not one of them. If we had 30-40 employees instead of 10, our burn-rate would be double or triple, which means more dilutions, less cash, and slower progression. Then, the whiners and bashers would have something else to complain about.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy
