Lululemon is in the big bubble stage and is only a matter of time for it to burst.
Consumers of apparel such as LULU offers tend to be and educated group; and thus are gettinhg more and more aware that competing brands offer very similar items for far lower prices. Offerings such at Target, JC Penney and even Costco. Now of course, there will always be those who MUST have the trendy LOGO visable. That is why LaCoste shirts sell quite well at $96, while a $8.97 shirt at Walmart is just as comfortable and will last as long. Granted the color assortment of the LaCoste is very wide and very appealing, but it comes at a very dear price. And so, similar shirts sell very well also at Kohl's with "Chaps" and at JC Penney, Land'sEnd, LL Bean, and house brands at Lord & Taylor, Macy's, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and yes even some very good quality at Costco.
Be aware, the Lululemon copies, dulicates and inspired attire are now getting wide distribution elsewhere. So just when does the bubble burst for LULU?
