A very hot summer could do exactly the same thing for earnings. It takes energy such as nat gas to make electricity to run water pumps, air conditioning, etc. Burning fossil fuels makes it hotter which increases demand for more energy which makes it hotter which increases demand which ..... Well, you get the idea. It seems to me that this company is in the sweet spot no matter what. Interesting conference call today (even though I didn't understand most of it.) The thing that got my attention the most was the mention of increased exports of U.S. fuels. That's something I'm not used to hearing. We've been a net importer for as long as I can remember.
