Does anyone know what size of a share order needed to be placed in order to be timely executed? They ripped retail investors a new one and that is a FACT........I have 4 Scottrade accts and have waited for answers all morning, with no replies thus far. Effing crooks all of them........
You need a minimum of 50K, now even those trades are iffy for fast execution ???
So if you are not placing at least 100K orders, FORGET IT !!! This is the ULTIMATE in manipulation by the MMs without a doubt !!
I don't think it has to do with the size. You just have to time it right. When it is running up you can't get a buy order to execute, and the same with a sell when it is going down. You have to predict when it will turn and execute your trade before it does. Sucks, I know. I've lost thousands in potential profits because of that #$%$.
I bumped my bid price up .25 above real time price, and it took 10 minutes for the real time price to bypass my bid. I did not get the buy, it was 1250 shares. That was what settled funds I had available. I had no problem with a 10,000 share trade yesterday. You can't use unsettled funds, without getting a Reg T. violation. Even though electronic banking is supposed to be instant, it is not. Scottrade cost me about $10k today, who has the most reliable and trouble free trading platform? TIA
