reasons.... obama wants to "phase out" FNMA in the future. AAMRQ is being sued by the feds for their merger with USAIR. ive never heard of an airline merger not being completed. all they have to do is to sell some landing slots at reagan airport. easy double. easy loss on FNMA
Sentiment: Strong Sell
AAMRQ WAS A GOOD PLAY
I BANKED ON THAT AS WELL
BUT FNMA IS GOING TO BE MUCH BIGGER
FNMA IS UP ALMOST 100% OFF YOUR BAD CALL
YOU WILL BE WATCHING THIS FROM THE SIDELINES
DO NOT BE MAD
the majority of usairways slots at Washington DC Reagan National serve small to medium sized airports. A large portion of that traffic yield is O&D with connecting traffic to sort yield in those relatively lightly traveled routs which makes the operation of those routes economically feasible. other airlines seeking access to Reagan National do not want to use those routes in small to medium size cities but rather with serve larger cities such as Miami Tampa Fort Lauderdale Providence Boston New York Chicago etc. This would dismantle essential service access to Washington D.C. which is a unique service of USAirways and wouldmake Reagan National a connection hub next to the P56, the White House, Congress, and Supreme Court just where you do not need nonessential traffic. . .the US Airways American Airlines merger is dead unless some other means of dismantling the London Whale' trade bets can be found. DOJ action against the aa lcc merger has nothing to do with Airlines or air fares. Thisshould be evident when considering the complete surprise and shock of the Department of Justice action with no trial balloons no for warning no discussions leading up to this decision clearly demonstrates that the DOJ action is driven by external events that have nothing to do with American Airlines and US Airways. until the JP Morgan whale trades are unraveled buy some other means the merger is dead and the entire airline industry will become a casualty as well as the bankruptcy cycle trap returns to the airline industry.
in addition the death of an American Airlines US Airways merger May well tspellspell the end of airline service to Washington Reagan National and in fact could result in the airport being closed or limited only to light turboprop aircraft with 70 passengers or less. it is simply not worth the risk to vital areas of government to operate a connecting hub at the Reagan National Airport without the benefit of subsidizing a central air service to the nation's capital. the death of this merger will be the death of Washington Reagan National as anything other than turboprop service
Why would anyone listen to you? I highly doubt anyone does. Obama never said he wants to "phase out" fnma! YOU are a LIAR!
Obammy is not our king or emperor! He will be on his way LONG before f&f go anywhere.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
fnma is toast. by this time next yr i will be booking a flight on the worlds largest airline while you will be wiping your butts with your worthless FNMA stock certificates. for your info, just about every airline merger has been challenged by the justice dept.
