I have my core position that never changes, however, picking up a couple hundred a couple times here and there, never hurts. IPSU has gone between 6.4 and 6.9 too many times in the past month not to take advantage of the moves.
average down your cost position by a couple of hundred dollars? That's small potatoes and akin to walking over a dime to pick up a penney. Why sell any of your position at these giveway levels. The stock is just way too close to a major event to sell now! Its upside potential is probably fives times its downside risk. How would you feel if you sold, and the very next day, the company announced it was being pursued by a buyout firm?
Actually I agree that at 7 you should sell some of your position. I did, the stock is range bound until earnings or something happens. I am long, but using this attitude to lower my cost a couple hundred at a time.
