Wow Lucky, a reasonable number. I come up with around 24 if they can shop it around to get an even market price. (6X earnings of 4 mil. by my calculations) 8 mil. if they fire sale it to their partner like they did with Santos. Are we making a new low today?
Interesting question how much for Wholesome.
Everyone assumes they're going to sell, they might actually buy Wholesome at a price lower than original. Why not approach Cargill and see if they're interested in partnering with Imperial, afterall they're already in business at LSR. Nothing is cast in stone. Everyday that goes by allows Wentworth to continue to settle in, LSR gets up and running, Sugar prices rise to allow a profit. Time is the key.
Santos sold for twice what it was dropping to the IPSU bottom line. Wholesome has some pretty choppy earnings over the last 2 years so it's hard to get a solid number. Worst case 8 mil., possibly 12-16 mil.
